A nice copper red hued dark gold brew with a very thin white head. The nose is light with some dusty bread and a little bit of apple. Hints of caramel. This tastes like metallic caramel with some apple. There is also some peanut character. Overall, a little boring, but not bad.

zimbo (972) - SCOTLAND - DEC 30, 2012
Rough off light nose. Light clear browny colour.Light nut followed by some empty nutty malt elements but still very thin & with some responses in the end. But it really lacks character & interest.

Not much of a bitter feeling to this it had a little bit of hops but nothing much else.

drowland (9080) - Georgia, USA - DEC 29, 2012
12/29/12. 12oz bottle. Clear amber red pour with a small off-white head that fades to a soapy nothingness immediately. Faint caramel aroma with metal and tea. Plain apple flavor with caramel and must. Blegh.

csaso (2321) - Missouri, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Bottle - small foamy head, medium copper color, sweet malty aroma and flavor with some dry bitter hops, a little flat on the palate ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pershing (576) - Garland, Texas, USA - DEC 28, 2012
Clear amber with almost no head to speak of. Toasted malt aroma with some bread. Thin watery mouthfeel with hardly no visual carbonation. Crisp clean finish. Another weak brew from Newcastle.

blutt59 (6579) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Bottle, copper colored pour with some white foam. aroma is bready, yeast roll, copper pennies, flavor has that nice bitter metallic note with yeasty finish

mjg74 (3182) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Bottle from BevMo. Light amber in color. Slightly sweet nose with a hint of roast and fake chocolate. Bready with a little bit of hop bitterness. A little watery.

JonMoore (2067) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 25, 2012
Copper coloured, malty, not much hops going on, a bit watery, drinkable and average.

DandyLion (529) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 25, 2012
Lovely deep coppery colour with Sid like thin head. Smells malty, no discernible hops. Tastes quite pedestrian for a so called IPA. Inoffensive and quite drinkable. It's OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
