Draft.amber pour with tan head. Very malty and light fruit and bread aromas. Light bittering and yes autocorrect bittering of flavor, "stale college basement". Not finishing the generous pour at the pub. DocLock (11217) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 4, 2012
Bottle from Capone’s. Pours straw colored with 0f-white minimal head. Nose is malt, spicy hops. Tastes malty, ESB-ish, with earthy malt notes, some hops, and not a lot of complexity. Comes off like a slightly hoppier and less malty Newcastle brown. blipp (10104) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 3, 2012
Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Pale and lightly toasted malts, a hint of flowery hops, and a touch of sweetness. Well balanced. markas101 (2543) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - DEC 3, 2012
33 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via Tesco Infirmary. Medium gold-amber. Thin head. Caramel and bead aroma. Bready taste with slight metallic lingering. Finish is slightly smokey, some vanilla. Drinkable but nothing special. Westmeister (2127) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 2, 2012
Pours a clear dull brown with wispy white head. Smell is sweet grains, but almost a spoil hint. Taste is more sweet grain, caramel, almost no hop presence. IPA? Really? Not good.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear copper with a slight beige head that left quickly. Aroma is floral/herb with a caramel backing. Suggests cola sort of. Med body. Flavor is odd. There’s a veg/herb hop thing. Malt backing. Suggests an insecticide aroma - the kind made from flowers*. It’s not terrible, but I’ve never had anything like it. Unique flavors fer sure.

I’m sorry but there’s a handsome man in my spoon. You’ll have to come back later.
Bottle. Dark brown color. Smells of malt, bread and dough. Far from an IPA in my opinion but i guess this is the british version of it. Eh
