HogTownHarry (6379) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - SEP 10, 2012
September 30, 2011 with blankboy, garthicus, gregclow, jerc and mabel. Bright oily-looking light amber with a small diminishing off-white head. Aroma is sort of harsh, bit of fruit, bit of papery floral bitterness. Pretty much no taste, a hint of harshness - average everything and quick, a little ugliness in the aftertaste - ehhh mehh and fehhhh.

The aroma has mushrooms, grassy hops, and sweet malt. The appearance is amber with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma with a metallic element. The palate is average. Overall not great.

TheJestersBeer (2398) - SWEDEN - JUN 18, 2012
355ml bottle. Pours a slightly dull, medium amber, with a white head. Malty, spicy aroma, caramel, toffee, hops, passion fruit. Dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2. Malty, hoppy taste, caramel, spices, toffee, apricot, lightly roasted. Far from an IPA, but a decent ale. (2012-06-12)

Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a deep amber color with an off white head. The nose fruity with notes of berries and cherry. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and a light fruitiness. A very light bitterness on the back end. Very one dimensional and unimpressive. Medium body with average carbonation and a short finish. Pedestrian.

Pours clear amber, large carbonation in body. Immediately noticed an astringent front, with mild metallic flavors into the finish. Some caramel and grassy, with a weak body. Bottle.

Poured clear gold in color. Faint grassy aroma. Taste was somewhat unexpected: grassy, muddy and a bit metallic, with a clean finish.

Tastes good, at first. It kind of tastes like it was sweetened artificially to hode something. Not an IPA despite the lable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle. Medium brown with no head. Smells like a certain illegal substance. Taste is of an awful wine my sister made me try once. Finishes sweet. A step above hog urine.
