DocLock (10745) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 4, 2012
Bottle from Capone’s. Pours straw colored with 0f-white minimal head. Nose is malt, spicy hops. Tastes malty, ESB-ish, with earthy malt notes, some hops, and not a lot of complexity. Comes off like a slightly hoppier and less malty Newcastle brown.

ManVsBeer (10683) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2013
Golden-orange in colour with a very small head. Has plenty of dry pale ale character, both aroma and taste are well served in a full bodied ale.

Bottle @ home. Clear, burnt orange appearance with a white head that disappears in no time. Medicinal, herbal hoppy, horrible aroma. Toasty malty, herbal hoppy, horrible macro flavor. One of the worst beers I’ve ever had and definitely the worst IPA I’ve ever had.

leaparsons (10613) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2013
Bottle. Amber with an off white foam. Aromas are tea and Weetabix with caramel and a light fruitiness. Nutty with hints of rubber. Flavours are dry tea with sweet Weetabix. Some fruity bitterness. A bit thin. A mediocre bitter, not an IPA at all.

BVery (10609) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JAN 23, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. Not sure what I really expected from Newcastle, but this is pretty bad. Plenty of skunk to go with the caramel malts. Pretty light palate. Bleh.

jercraigs (10592) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 3, 2011
2011-09-30. Crisp amber body with a small white head. Grainy English malt aroma, toasty malt. Flavour is similar, grainy English malt character, sweetish light bitterness, touch fruity. Average palate. Meh. Bottle

jmgreenuk (9558) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JUL 17, 2013
Bottle from one of the supermarkets. Poured a crystal clear golden brown with a thin white head. The aroma is malty with nuts, leading to a medium bitter flavour with some liqourice, malt and nuts on the palate and a little hoppy bitterness in the finish. An IPA ? I dont think so. It’s more like Newcastle Brown on speed! I’d like to think these guys with all their resources could do better. Maybe they need to look towards the newer, smaller micros for inspiration.

Quack-Duck (9486) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 28, 2013
bottle from Tesco Newton Abbot. Amber colour, small fluffy head. Malty with a touch of caramel, shy hoppy finish. Disappointing.

blipp (9374) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 3, 2012
Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Pale and lightly toasted malts, a hint of flowery hops, and a touch of sweetness. Well balanced.

mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 15, 2011
[4087K-20111930] Bottle. Sweet floral toffee cream aroma. Clear, amber orange body with a medium-lasting bubbly white head. Toffee creamy flavour has a sweet aftertaste. Medium body. Not awful but not yet bad. (6/3/6/3/11) 2.9
