Bottle at home. Not very exciting. Pours copper, light, metallic, soft toffee. Beese (3051) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2014
Bottle from Tesco. Poured a clear, bright copper, with a dense white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, apples and caramel. Bready malt flavour, with some toffee sweetness and light grassy hop. Finish was cooked fruit, spongecake and grain. slowrunner77 (12471) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 26, 2014
"nice head, but the body clearly filtered - overly so. anything in the generic newcastle house malt flavor that works in a brown ale (by no stretch a greatbeer but not offensive) does NOT work in an ipa. this is actually laughable as an ipa, english style or not. little hop presence except to contradict the muddled malt flavor and add a touch of bitterness. this beer is a waste of time. got thrugh 10 oz of 12 before pouring. absolutely don;t get the higher scores." weaselkenievil (1608) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2014
Bottle at home. Clear golden brown (top tune) with a medium rocky off white head. Aroma is malty, biscuits. Flavour is more malts, some sweetness, faint hops. Didn’t hate it but didn’t really enjoy it, needs more hops for my tastes. Acknud (1081) - Morganfield, Kentucky, USA - MAR 9, 2014
Amber pour with small soft head. A little spicy but mostly malt with a nice clean bitter finish.

Bottle looks very simple but okay. Beer in the glass deep golden-brownish, nice small head. Mild hoppy aroma. Starts mild, malty, modest hoppy-dry, mild grasy notes. Finish still mild, less intense hoppy. All in all okay, but the hoppy notes could be more dominating. john44 (3215) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2014
Bottle - Amber Gold in colour. Malty; caramel, sweet toasty malts. Fruity; hint of orange. Hoppy; very slight hop bitterness; almost undetectable. Cloyingly sweet malty faintly fruity throughout. Certainly not an IPA. Uninspiring. Quack-Duck (9487) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 28, 2013
bottle from Tesco Newton Abbot. Amber colour, small fluffy head. Malty with a touch of caramel, shy hoppy finish. Disappointing. fonefan (50011) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 25, 2013

Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dusty, toffee, hay - grass. sweet malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, grass - hay, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Pours an amber colour, slight hop flavour, but not too strong, nothing special, I was expecting a lot more
