Cask at The Leinster Arms, London. Pours clearish gold with a frothy, white head. Just some bready malts on the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with doughy bread, some leaves, some crunchy grains, sugar, lightly toasted grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. There’s a bit of grassy bitterness to finish, with more undercooked bread, leaves, a bit of ripe orange. Nothing special. imdownthepub (14955) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 28, 2012
Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Amber to brown with slight head. Sweet, smooth malty beer, quite baked, bready in character with the sugary edge a bit like a French Brioche. Ok.
