On cask at the Cask and Barrel, Southside. Pours a golden brown colour with a thick white head. A yeasty aroma with some biscuity malt. Similar yeasty flavours. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Gary (1999) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2011
(cask @ Coopers, Rochester ). Easy going stuff, with an excellent white foamy head that was robust and not shy like 99% of cask ales. Fruity aromatic hops , crisp on the palate , with just enough subtle malt sweetness interacting . A good quality cask ale.! fonefan (48579) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 25, 2010

Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
Cask. Clear amber golden with an off-white head. Sweet caramel in the nose, perhaps a little fruit. Medium body, low carbonation, sweet caramel and fruit with a rather low bitterness. 180110 MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2009
A Mes rate. Cask at The Magnet. Stockport.
Attractive copper colour with a very thin off white head. Very earthy and peaty on the nose with maybe a little straw and hay in the background. A bit more character in the mouth. A decent balance of lemony hop and earthy malt. Some faint meaty notes in the finish but they’re swiftly dealt with by some pleasant bitterness that lasts well. Decent but no show stopper.
