Clear light Amber pour. Earthy hop aroma somewhat bitter. Dry clean finish and malty light.
Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet malts, toffee and bready sweetness, and a very light hop profile. Finishes a bit too sweet for me. Not great. BlackHaddock (7730) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2014
11th March 2014, third beer in my flight at the brewpub. My favourite, so I had a pint after trying all eight brews on tap that day. Clear body, deep amber with a good solid head, especially on the pint. I detected a slight over roasted malt feel to the whole brew, which I really liked. Semi-sweet and mellow, it just flew down my throat. DedicatedToFun (4003) - Santa Monica, California, USA - SEP 5, 2013
Decent ESB on tap at the brewery in newport, easy to drink, malty and a little hoppy

The pour is a brownish color with an off-white head. The nose is heavy on the bread, some toast, and a hint of cocoa. Nice toffee sweetness, a mild floral hoppiness, and a touch of earth. The flavor is lightly bitter with earthy and floral hop flavors. Toffee and bread give a nice sweetness, and a moderate cocoa/chocolate flavor. Plenty of toasted malt on the palate as well. joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - MAR 10, 2012
On draft at the brewpub. It pours light amber gold with a small white head. The aroma is faint with some bread and light berries. the flavor is mild up front with some caramel, fruit and a decent bitter finish. Pretty boring, but no major flaws as far as I’m concerned. Light amber brew with a small tan head. Aromas of herbal and grassy hops, caramel malt, and chocolate. Flavor is lots of barley and caramel with a decent hop bite.
Draft at the brewpub. Pours amber with thick off white head. Aroma of caramel malt and light hops. Typical ESB. Just OK. JohnnyJ (5569) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 26, 2010
Draft at the brewpub. Clear red pour, white head. Caramel malts, fruit, earthy hops. Pretty standard for an ESB, solid beer.
