On tap @ Newport Beach Brewing Co.
Clear amber brew with a decent amount of white head. Lots of floral hop aroma with some bready malt. Taste is very balanced with not too much bitterness or sweetness. Flavors of caramel and pine hops. can8ianben (1556) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 5, 2010
By far my favorite beer from the sampler. Friends at our table didn’t finish their full pint of this, so I got to enjoy even more. Aroma is of fresh hops, appearance is copper with a frothy head. Tastes like a good IPA should (surprisingly labeled as just a pale ale, especially considering that it is dry hopped). Really delicious smooth bitter finish. doubleo (1432) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 19, 2008
On-tap at the brewpub. Pours clearish amber with a thin white head, specks of lace. Smells subdued hoppy sweet, nice malty sweetness in the back. Tastes malty crisp with just a backing of hops, slight citrus, slight grass flavor. Medium body, good carbonation. DenverLogan (1220) - LA, California, USA - JUN 28, 2007
Amber color, small white head. Nice aroma of hops, with a big grapefruit hoppy and citrus flavor. Minimal sweetness and bitter finish. herbjones (742) - Orange, California, USA - JAN 26, 2003
Dark gold pour. Floral nose with slight citrus notes. Big "C" hop bite. This is your standard big hopped up west coast ipa.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours copper with off white head. Aroma of citrus hops. Nice hoppy pale ale. jarspag (601) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 14, 2007
Very solid for an APA, decent hop aroma and solid flavor - however it doesn’t linger long enough. Good for a sunny day in Newport.
