UPDATED: OCT 4, 2010 Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear orange color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of piney hops and sweet malt. Medium body with a moderately hoppy character that has pine and citrus notes. Sweet grainy malt in the background as well. The finish is hoppy with a short somewhat bitter aftertaste. Decent overall. JohnnyJ (5562) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 26, 2010
Draft at the brewpub. Clear amberish pour, sticky white head. Citrusy hops, light tropical fruit, grapefruit, and background of caramel malt and bread. Nice pale, one of the better offerings. jgb9348 (6250) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - AUG 31, 2011
Slightly orange coloured blonde body with a little white head. Aroma of fresh hops, light malt and a good citrus and grapefruit scent. Medium-bodied; Potent fresh hops show well, with a good malt backbone and some other light herbal tastes. Aftertaste shows a bit of grass, some light yeast and a good dose of citrus and grapefruit hops, all with a good malt backbone. Overall, a nice pale that shows well and leaves the mouth slightly puckered from the bitterness. I sampled this pint on draught at the brewpub with haddon90 in Newport Beach, California on 27-August-2011. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JAN 17, 2008
Floral citrus aroma with some sweet bready malt. Pours a darker gold color. Notes of perfume and grapefruit in the flavor and some moderately sweet bready malt. Finishes very crisp. A clean APA. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - OCT 28, 2008
Clear amber with a fleeting head. Nice piney fresh hop aroma. Medium body. Good flavor of nicely bitter pine hops on a sweet caramel base. Classic Pale Ale.

On-tap at the brewpub. Pours clearish amber with a thin white head, specks of lace. Smells subdued hoppy sweet, nice malty sweetness in the back. Tastes malty crisp with just a backing of hops, slight citrus, slight grass flavor. Medium body, good carbonation. jsh12bama (681) - Alabama, USA - FEB 12, 2011
Draft at the brewpub. Pours copper with off white head. Aroma of citrus hops. Nice hoppy pale ale. blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 13, 2014
Draft. Pours golden orange with a white head. Pale malts, light sweetness, moderate fruity hops, and mild bitterness. Not bad. Foxbush (2028) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 14, 2015
Draft at the brewpub The APA poured a clear light gold color with a small off white head and lacing. The aroma was more citrus than malt. The overall taste was good but could have more hop flavor. The ale had a light body and average carbonation. In the back, hop bitterness takes hold, inducing a lasting dry swallow. This a special place with above average beer. Tap at the brewery, decent pale ale, hoppy, citrus, piney, overall pretty decent pale.
