(En fût à la brasserie): Biscuit sablé mouillé, ramolli dans un jus d’agrumes. Plus sucré qu’houblonné, plus vers le miel que le caramel, finale molle sans attrait mémorable. Foxbush (2088) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 14, 2015
Draft at the brewpub The APA poured a clear light gold color with a small off white head and lacing. The aroma was more citrus than malt. The overall taste was good but could have more hop flavor. The ale had a light body and average carbonation. In the back, hop bitterness takes hold, inducing a lasting dry swallow. This a special place with above average beer. blipp (9590) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 13, 2014
Draft. Pours golden orange with a white head. Pale malts, light sweetness, moderate fruity hops, and mild bitterness. Not bad. BlackHaddock (7583) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2014
Beer number two on my flight at the brewpub on 11th March 2014. Comes a clear and good looking amber, white head. The aroma was leaning towards a citrus base with some toasted maltiness, as was the taste. Easy to drink and my second favourite of the eight beers I sampled while sitting in the sun outside the place with my wife and daughter. Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - OCT 6, 2013
6 oct 2013, tap. Orange and a bit hazy. Nose is orange juice and grapefruit rind. Med body and moderately fizzy. Grapefruit rind bitterness and finish. Some caramel malt.

Tap at the brewery, decent pale ale, hoppy, citrus, piney, overall pretty decent pale. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - MAR 10, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. It pours golden with a small head. The aroma has some berry fruit, caramel and light diacetyl. The flavor also has some off notes of cooked vegetables. Other than that, theres some caramel and a decent earthy bitter finish. Not great. jgb9348 (6434) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - AUG 31, 2011
Slightly orange coloured blonde body with a little white head. Aroma of fresh hops, light malt and a good citrus and grapefruit scent. Medium-bodied; Potent fresh hops show well, with a good malt backbone and some other light herbal tastes. Aftertaste shows a bit of grass, some light yeast and a good dose of citrus and grapefruit hops, all with a good malt backbone. Overall, a nice pale that shows well and leaves the mouth slightly puckered from the bitterness. I sampled this pint on draught at the brewpub with haddon90 in Newport Beach, California on 27-August-2011. Dixonian (1562) - Plano, Texas, USA - AUG 2, 2011
On tap @ Newport Beach Brewing Co.
Clear amber brew with a decent amount of white head. Lots of floral hop aroma with some bready malt. Taste is very balanced with not too much bitterness or sweetness. Flavors of caramel and pine hops. jsh12bama (681) - Alabama, USA - FEB 12, 2011
Draft at the brewpub. Pours copper with off white head. Aroma of citrus hops. Nice hoppy pale ale.
