On tap in Newport back in May. Pours an orange - amber color with little to no head. Malt and bread in the nose. Light bodied with notes of roasted malt and bread flavors. A very simple beer, nothing impressive about this one.

Another beer sent to me in a beer club delivery. No preconceptions on this one, I doubt it is offered in my home state. Poured into a glass mug it offers an attractive medium red body and a thin white top. It looks to be lowly carbonated. A whiff gives me a bit of malt and vanilla. It tastes decent, a little hop to go with the malt and some pecan. Very small amount of bitterness. No great shakes but I am not put off.

Draft sample at the source. The beer is a clear amber with a white head of foam. The aroma has toffee and woody notes. Some caramel notes. Sweet and roasty. Some bread. Medium body and medium carbonation.

Draft At Tavern by The Sea in Wickford,RI. The amber ale poured a clear Amber color with an off white head and lacing. Caramel malts and warm bread greets you. The ale is very balanced with some sweetness. The ale has a medium body and average carbonation. A very nice Amber ale to enjoy with dinner. No lingering bitterness but some tangy notes at the end.

From bottle in tapered shaker. Pours amber with aroma of yeast and sweet bread. Easy drinking, malt-driven amber reminiscent of a more widely distributed Vienna lager from up the highway.

A malty sweet amber. Kind of middle of the road, not standout in either a good or bad way. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma - a caramel and bready sort of malt aroma. Appearance - the body is a clean amber. Head is about 1" and white, fades into a nice foam. Some lacing. Taste - malt flavor has some toast and some caramel. The hops are English and mild in nature. Good taste. Palate - body is medium, carbonation average, and finish somewhat tangy.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy toffee color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was malty and sweet with fruity hops, caramel and honey. The flavor was malty, tangy and sweet with nut and fruity hops. Medium length finish. Medium body. Decent.

On tap at the taproom. A clear, dark amber beer with a minimal sized light beige head. The aroma has bread, caramel and a grassy, piney touch. Some diacetyl notes too. Theres a nice bitterness in the mouth, a soft carbonation level and its rather dry. Bread, grass, caramel and a touch of diacetyl in the flavor. A bit short finish. Drinkable, but sure boring. 150607

Bottle from Nikkis Liquors. Clear deeper orange / amber pour with a small soapy white head. Husky grains, sweet, bit metallic. Mouthfeel is thin. Not very good.
