It has a great aroma of apples. It is a really light yellow. It almost has no color. It has a pleasing flavor and is smooth a refreshing. It tastes much like champagne.

Like inexpensive white wine. Unobjectionable, but not my cup of tea. Or apples.

Dollar single from Trader Joe’s. Already certain of what is ahead of me, I’m not very eager. Having a decent bottle to sub in at the ready really helps work up your courage.
Ommegang anniversary glass. Clear, very pale, gold color. Barely
Smell is grapey sweet, a little white sugar, aerosol burn. Smells simply of white table wine.
Taste is unexpected. This is really acidic, very wine-y, woody, & only mildy tart. The regular Newton’s Folly had way more candy-like tartness. Still has that cheap/ugly apple wine booziness. Cider vinegar sweetness. Dry finish. A bit creamy in texture. Soft to moderate carbonation.
This is all apple wine. Not a fan of that kind of cider. The regular Newton’s Folly tastes somewhat like sour Granny Smiths, not this. Labeling mixup perhaps?
Tallahassee, Fl - Trader Joe’s 12 oz bottle. Pours and almost clear light golden, quick bubbly head on the pour that quickly dissipates. Aroma has some very faint sour Granny Smith notes. Flavor is very mellow with some light Granny Smith sourness, a touch of club soda - not exactly loaded down with flavor. Mouthfeel is slightly artificial and dry. Passable. Almost totally clear, like carbonated water. Not much aroma, and taste is standard sweet apple juice with light tartness. $2/12oz

Very, very pale - looks like perry. Squat, west coast longneck - brown, not the green pictured. Pleasant, greenish apple aroma with very very light vinegar. Twangy, light vinegar, moderately sweet. Apple and nothing else. Light body. AndyW68 (1641) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUL 9, 2013
Extremely pale clear yellow.Aroma is Apple. Taste is Apple.a little sweet, a little sour. Descent. AR (1002) - Georgia, USA - JUL 7, 2013
Pleasantly surprised with this cider. It was crisp and clear, medium body and very smooth. Good tart flavor of Granny Smith. tnkw01 (1854) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Bottle. Golden color, tiny bubbles. Sweeter than I thought it would be. Not very tart considering it comes from a granny smith. Aroma is a cross between a dry wine and apple juice. Not bad for what it is. Graded lower because of the tartness factor. Stuedmaster (352) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 4, 2012
This cider is best when it’s very cold, otherwise it has kind of a winey aroma and flavor. It’s nearly as good as the ’Woodchuck Granny Smith Cider, but a better price. It has a nice clean, sour apple flavor and a crisp finish. Very refreshing, good for drinking mass quantities.
