Pale sickly yellow tinted body with no head. Granny Smith apples and a little bit of Band Aids in the nose. There is also is some wood. The taste is a little tart with some notes of jelly sweetness. A little bit of wood comes out in the finish.

Purchased from Trader Joe’s as part of a mix & match 6 pack, enjoyed on a Thursday night the week before the holidays. This is unbelievably clear, I can practically watch TV through this thing. Aroma of sugar and apples. Taste is extremely sweet, definitely champagne like, very bubbly, hint of apple in there as well. Not too much into it, tastes like the other Newton’s Folly I had.

Pours a pale near transparent hint of peach body. Grain and apple tones, lingering salt and dry gritty sweetness. Waxy with a hint of fruit. Poor.

12 oz bottle from Trader Joe’s. Pours clear with a slight yellow to green shade. Aroma is of some apple and Champaign. Medium body, medium carbonation. Medium sweetness and acidity. Reminds me of semi-sweet white wine.

Non-musty pear and rose aroma, with shitty overtones. Clear very light green. Shitty acidic flavor. Barely palatable. Granny Smith is just the wrong variety of apple for cidering. This one is especially bad.

12 oz bottle from Trader Joe’s. It’s such a light pale yellow it almost looks clear. Head disappeared almost immediately. Tiny white lace. Nose is like apples rolled in powdered sugar. Taste is big tart apples, followed by flat smack of yeast. About 10 seconds after that theres a little pungent salivator. The first taste makes my eyes twinge like eating sour candy. Funny long lingering aftertaste.

jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 19, 2010
Almost clear, slight salmon hue, with fine bubbles / Sweet, candied citrus nose / Light body, gentle acidity and carbonation, with good, dry finish / Flavors of granny smith apples and apple candy / While lacking the fermented punch of the best, this one is stylish, and clean and very enjoyable.

rabba9 (115) - Chaska, Minnesota, USA - OCT 30, 2009
Bottle pours clear and near water-like with no head. Aroma is of granny smith apples yet unpleasant. Taste initially sweet and apples with a tart finish. Light in body and carbonation. Not that great the finish ruins it.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2011 Almost clear pour with a tart green apple aroma and a similar flavor with a bigger touch of sweetness and yeast. Meh.

12 ounce bottle from Trader Joe’s in Short Pump, VA. Pours a very pale yellow... almost colorless. Crystal clear with lots of carbonation. Not much of an effort at a head. Aroma is tart, grainy apples. Taste is sweet apples with a tart finish. Thin bodied. Glad I cracked this first because I’m extremely thirsty, but that’s about as much good as it does.
