On tap at the brewery, pours coppery red with a thin head and lace. English hops and bready malt in the aroma. Medium body with the right amount of CO2 on the palate. Overall, a well-balanced beer but not an outstanding example of a EPA. smaynard6000 (1166) - Apopka, Florida, USA - AUG 3, 2012
Growler from the brewery. Pours a dark golden color with spare white head. Aroma is mostly grain with just a hint of hoppiness. Slightly bitter and also somewhat sweet. Light to medium bodied with slick mouthfeel and easy to drink. A solid beer. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 16, 2011
Draft @ brewpub. Nice coppery color. Flat and oily looking. Buttery aroma. Biscuity malts. Too vegetal but has some nice hop flavors to redeem. Oakes (17668) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 25, 2011
Golden-amber. Not much head. The aroma is fairly simple - a lot of caramel. Sweetish palate with light fruitiness and a fairly low hop level. More boring than anything else. LilBeerDoctor (3930) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 12, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange-brown with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, soap, and lots of fruits. Flavor of caramel malt, dates, cake, sweet fruits, iced tea, fig, and earthy notes. Not your typical ESB - a little odd tasting. Ok overall.
