Bottle at Erzbierschof MC, vintage 2014. Pours dark brown with a soft beige head. Aroma is mocca, chocolate, coffee. Body is medium, lots of chocolate, some coffee, still a lot of roast and sweetness, some booze, but in good harmony. Very good!

Translates as "God’s help in trouble". 50cl bottle purchased at De Bierkoning, Amsterdam and poured into a long stemmed tulip glass on 30-Oct-2016. Darrk brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of cocoa, malt and spices. Medium body and carbonation. Taste of chocolate, smoke, roasted malt, dark berries and caramelised sugar. Rich, medium sweetness with a nice bittersweet finish. Enjoyable.

pours unclear light brown with a small light beige cap offering some retention and lacing. smooth toffee caramel - not quite burnt; fruity berries - black raspberries and blackberries; some chocolate notes as well, woodsiness, metal traces. moderately low carbonation, medium body - oily; sweet but not cloying caramel-spicy finish. enjoyable baltic porter or rather its norwegian interpretation.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2016 (Bottle, 0.5 l - Brygget 20.06.14 - BB 20.06.17 - batch 1210, at Pikkulintu, 20160701) The beer poured dark brown and hazy. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had malts, molasses and caramel. Palate was full bodied with medium. Flavours were malts, caramel, sweetness, toasted malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A very malty brew..

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2016 Bottle 500ml. Served at cellar temperature. Pours a dark brown with a slight red tint. Head is lightly tanned, foamy and last well. Aroma is sweet and complex with notes of earthy roasted malts, Belgian chocolates, burnt brown sugar, muscatels, raisins, blueberries and a touch of treacle. Flavour is smooth with a light roasted bitterness, coco, burnt brown sugar, blueberries, sultanas and a dry raisin toast finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a good length, dry finish. Highly sessionable stuff!

Pours black with a small white ring. Aroma is light roasted malt and coffee. Taste is a bit thin on body, roasted malts and a slight dark chocolate with a hint of mocha. Nice beer.

500ML bottle Dark brown color, lots of ruby highlights. Light tan head, falls to a thin layer of film and collar. one strip of lacing. Nose is wooded with earth, dark fruits and licorice. Nice warming nose. Taste is chocolate, earth, wood, dark fruits and licorice. Bits of sourness in the back. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Held up pretty well for a 2 year old beer.

Bottled (from Vinmonopolet, Kirkenes). Deep amber colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is some wooden notes, mild toasted notes as well as some mild chocolate and earth. Flavour is caramel, fruity and some alcohol and some wood and some liquorice. Wellbalanced and pleasant.
