UPDATED: FEB 21, 2018 Tap. Apperance: dark brown with redish light, low to medium foam with low retention, low to medium carbonation. Smell: roasted malt, caramel, red confit fruits. Taste: marches smell, good aromatic profile but not mind-blowing, low to medium sugar, medium feel and drinkability, rather tin texture. Overall: well executed high ABV porter but a bit thin. Pours black with medium, foamy head. Aroma is caramel and oddly floral hints. Taste is sweet caramel and light chocolate, opening an oatmeal and citrus flavor. Finish is smooth chocolate. A very tasty porter. mgajdaczewa (2382) - Katowice, POLAND - DEC 29, 2017
Piękny aromat zacnej kawuny, czekolady deserowej, bardzo apetycznie. W smaku półpełno, kawowo, czekoladowo, lekko kwaskowo, co nieco drażni. Większa gładkość, wyeliminowanie kwaskowości i byłby perfect. Luneylane (282) - Taipei City, TAIWAN - DEC 18, 2017
A bottle from Jason's near NCCU. Aroma dark chocolate. Appearance: cola, no real head. Palate: medium-bodied and creamy, soft carbonation, long and complex finish. Taste: medium sweet and bitter, well balanced. Roasted notes at the end. Oh yes, another good brew. ansalon (4304) - Stockholm, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - DEC 17, 2017

Bottle pour into tulip glass from Redstone Liquors. Appearance is virtually opaque black (dark brown with light source directly behind), light sparkle at the edge of the glass, ephemeral cap of light brown head and trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, toffee, dark fruit, vanilla. Taste is roasted malt, molasses, mild dark fruit, vanilla. Palate is light bodied with thin, silky smooth texture, soft carbonation and bittersweet, dry finish. Overall, strong flavor and aroma while maintaining a nice balance between sweet and bitter.
