Samea, hailakanoranssi olut vaahtoaa kohtalaisesti, mutta melko nopeasti häviävällä valkoisella vaahdolla. Tuoksu appelsiininen, viljainen, hieman hapan ja hiivainen. Maussa appelsiinia, viljaa ja hiivaa sekä mausteisuutta. Keskitäyteläinen suutuntuma, hyvin vähäisesti hiilihappoja. Ei tämä vaan millään pärjää belgitripeleille, vaikka yritystä onkin. rondphoto (4518) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - MAY 20, 2016
bottle @ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Aroma of malt and light bitter citrus. Hazy medium amber color, ivory head that drops to a full cover, sheets of lace. Taste is smooth toffee malt that moves through a lightly carbonated swallow to mostly semi-sweet yeast and biscuit. Slight bittering in the finish isn’t enough to offset an almost cloying sweet. This one comes close, but doesn’t deliver any balance. Too bad. Psytron (2564) - Turku, FINLAND - FEB 26, 2016
Smell of yeast, citrus. Muddy yellow colour with beige head. Aroma of yeast, mango, some nuts, some citrus. Mostly sweet, mildly sour. Carbon is low but sharp. Medium oily texture. Too yeasty, as many other Tripels. superdahl (20) - - FEB 20, 2016
A great well balanced Belgian triple from Nøgne Ø! Love the hint of smoked malt! Hallstein (483) - Skogn, NORWAY - FEB 19, 2016
From draft : Aroma has slight spice and peat/smokiness. dry bread. Flavor is nice and fruity, and some of the peatyness comes through here as well. Nice belgian spicyness. Quite balanced in the finish. This was quite good.

Pours a hazy amber body with a medium head. Nice and rich aroma. Taste if rather rich and very well balanced. A quite nice tripel with a distinctive character. If it were belgian, it would probably be famous :) tbonde (364) - DENMARK - JAN 23, 2016

9 degrees C Pours hazy yellow with small off white head with ok retention and some lacing. Fruity, yeasty aroma. Taste yeasty, slightly smoked, alcoholic with a sweetness of dried apricot and other dried fruits which also carries over into the aftertaste. Low carbonation and almost cloying palate. Completely lacks the effervescense of a good Belgian tripel and was the most disappointing Nøgne Ø I have had to date. Guess even excellent breweries miss now and again...
The aroma is ok. Some pear, yeast and malt. The taste however is not like what I expected from a trippel. The smoked taste and the yeast (that should been the "leading" taste) just not work to well together and it turns out to be a dissappointing beer this time from Nøgne Ø (still the best norwegian brewery....) mmyohane (108) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 25, 2015
Aroma has sweet pear, banana and vanilla. Some yeasty sourness and alcohol. Pours hazy golden with a small head that leaves beautiful lacing. Taste has light bitterness and medium sweetness. Herbal hops. Full bodied with average carbonation.
