Orange coloured. Well balanced beer with nice hop aroma Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 24, 2001
Note to Ontario brewmasters: There are other hops besides Goldings. This is a little timid and unbalanced, besides, but seriously, every beer around here tastes the same and it’s getting on my nerves. Lubiere (13796) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 23, 2006
Dark gold with orange hues, and a nice thcik white head. A light biscuitty malt arises with light English hops, and some apple esters. In mouth, a good decent EPA with night floral hops, some orange notes, and sweet caramel malt, rather short in mouth, with light metallic finish. A decent ale. This beer is a dark amber color with a medium thin light beige head and decent lacing. The aroma is a little fruity (sour apple) with a pinch of hops. Medium-bodied and tart, with flavors of malt, molasses and sour fruit. Very little hops in the flavor or finish. As for the finish it is lightly bitter and short. Overall this beer is not very impressive. Sammy (12099) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 5, 2004
medium yellow with creamy head. some citrus taste perhaps from yeast and malt, hop punch, solid carbonation attacks tongue and stays there for aftertaste.

TFOB. Bit less hoppy than I remember. Amber, not much head. Nicely bitter with some malt in the aroma. MartinT (9852) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 21, 2002
Sugar…A dash of hops…Tiny malt…Not much vitality… blankboy (7662) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 8, 2005
Bottle at the Winking Judge’s fall BeerFest 2005. Pours a clear dark golden-orange with an average size white head. Aroma and flavour primarily of sweet malt with light hops and grain. I found it a little too sweet, it could use a little more hops to balance it out better. A decent Ale. Radek Kliber (7320) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - NOV 28, 2002
Transparent brownish amber. Small head, low gas. Nice rich aroma, some sweetness, bark of an alder. Creamy, friendly beer that is fun to drink. HogTownHarry (6622) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - OCT 1, 2005
Bottle (341ml). At October 2005 Winking Judge BeerFest, Hamilton. Poured clear full golden-amber with a bubbly small white head. Aroma of grains, sour malt, some corn, stale hops - a bit sweet. Taste is honey-sweet malt, some straw/hay grain - quite clean and free of adjuncts and nastiness. Mouthfeel fizzy and a bit thin. Tastes decent, quite quenching, nic Canadian non-macro brew.
