Niagara’s Best Blonde Premium Ale is our flagship brand. It is a multi-award winning ale (twice named Ontario’s Best Cream Ale as well as receiving prizes at beer festivals and shows) which is sold at select LCBO’s and Beer Stores across Niagara and the GTA. We chose a blonde ale as our first beer since it is the ale variety that many consider to be the closest taste to traditional lager beers. It’s a beer that appeals to all beer drinkers and that is why our Niagara’s Best Blonde is so popular.

   AROMA 3/10   APPEARANCE 2/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 12/20
Gpnterojd (183) - Waterloo, Ontario, - MAR 6, 2011
Very little aroma -- faint hops. Cloudy, golden appearance, no head. Gets a little more distinguished in the mouth: burnt yeast dominates yet is still toned down. Well balanced. Heavy and smooth. Unremarkable except for the particular yeasty flavour that is rare in Ontario.

Tranquillity (2564) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 24, 2015
A bit of haziness, great golden color. Smells yeast out of all things, unfermented. Quite strong hops, but doable for a Belgian replica. The finish fades quickly.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8291) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 11, 2015
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a yellow-gold color with a large foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was semi-sweet and yeasty with a typical macro note. The flavor was bready, tangy, a bit sour and a touch fruity. Medium length finish. Medium body. Bland.

Draught @ Outback Steakhouse, Niagara Falls, ON
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, corn and hint of grass. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with an average grassy finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 14, 2015
On tap. A hazy golden beer with a small white head. The aroma has a distinct touch of diacetyl, but it’s mostly on the fruity side. Some nice bitterness in the mouth, it’s dry and nicely carbonated, with some corn notes in the flavor. Fruity and lightly malty, with a short finish. Rather boring, and not very good either. 150613

Cloudy, golden appearance with minimal head. Slight hops aroma. Well balanced taste.

Ferris (17098) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 3, 2014
Draft - Light pale malts. Light clear gold with a decent head. Light pale malts and a slight bitterness. Decent but nothing special.

tompete (350) - Tillsonburg, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 28, 2013
On tap at TGIFrideys. Slightly hazy golden with a thin white head. Aroma of sulfur and yeast. Flavour is only slightly bitter, but it’s a harsh one. Finish is distinctly malty.

Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 21, 2013
Clear golden colour. Muted aroma but there is a yeasty/banana and a hint of esters in the aroma that is strange. There is some bite in the palate and a slight leafy hop note and a yeasty flavour. I find this one different but drinkable.

Draft @ Syndicate, Niagara Falls .. . i quite liked this .. good solid mouth .. sweet hay .. . medium finish .. a mild beer but enjoyable .. But in his defense, that ring was kind of asking for it.

beerlfry (32) - - MAR 26, 2012
On tap at Tap’s on Queen. Little white head, poured pale gold. Citrus and banana aromas. Strong banana flavour. Easy drinking.
