Draught - at Volo. Muddy light orange pour, essentially no head. Initial aroma of overripe pineapple, acetone and, weirdly, cream - but it settled nicely, rounded out to apple crumble with light alcohol and plenty of nutmeg - it went from 4/10 to 7/10 in about 15 seconds. Tasted of cinnamon, nutmeg, ripe golden delicious apple and a little zing of lemon for giggles. Thick, mildly acidic mouthfeel nice and lively on the tongue .... weirdest thing I’ve had - I mean COLD mulled cider? But I’d have this again for sure. I would like to try the same again only heated, just to compare/contrast. blankboy (7714) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 9, 2010
Draught at Volo. Pours a murky cool-looking yellow-orange with no head. Nice aroma of apples and spices. Interesting flavour of tart apples and spices, it tastes like a cold mulled cider -- if this were warm it would be awesome. Average bodied. Quite nice, I really enjoyed this. garthicus (2933) - Dublin, IRELAND - JAN 2, 2010
On tap at Volo. Appearance: Cloudy yellow with no head. Aroma:, very ’Christmassy’, cinnamon, cloves, marzipan and of course; apples. Flavour: Like a scented Christmas candle, cinnamon, candy and cloves. Seeing as it was served cold, it was very hard to not think about what it would be like warmed in a saucepan and served on a winters evening. I’ve had it a few times since this original rate and it has really grown on me. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 19, 2009
[2616-20091129] Tap. Apple fruit and nutmeg spice aroma. Murky, light orange body with no head. Spiced baked apple pie flavour is a little bitter with a long fruit spice finish. Medium body. Toasty, a little bitter but tasty.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2010 Very pleasant nutmeg and smoothed apple, the latter was in the secondary. Easy drinking. Sweetish. Best thing I have had from this brewer.

2009-11-29. Murky headless orange body looks like peach juice. 3+ Modest aroma, spicy muddle cinnamon, nutmeg melange? 6+ Flavour is similar, pleasant apple, dry light alcohol undercurrent, modest spice throughout. 6+ Average to light palate is smooth. Pleasant. I think whether or not you like the spice makes a big impact on your overall impression. On tap at Volo, Toronto j12601 (12736) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - NOV 25, 2009
On tap at Niagara’s Best. Pours a murky light orange brown with a thin white head. Apple pie, cinnamon, tart apples. Medium bodied, dry, tart, lots of spice. A little bit of yeast, more spice. Rather tasty.
