COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: Also known as "Nibe Old Anchor Porter". <br /> Anker Porter er en dejlig rund og kulsort porter med lysebrunt cremet skum. Caribisk sukkermelasse giver sammen med ristet malt, spændende smagsnuancer af kaffe og lakrids.

bottle from Vinoble-favrskov clear dark brown, small bubbly light brown head. nice strong aroma. bourbon, licorice, coffee, roasted stuff, pretty solid aroma. flavor is roasted stuff, licorice, hoppy balance that unfortunately comes off as very slightly cellary. still a very good porter, with lots of flavor.

From [email protected] Bull Pub, Aalborg as ’’Nibe Old Anchor Porter’’. Pitch black body, with some beige bubbles on top. Predominant licorice aroma. Rounded roastedness and dark fruits too. Taste is gentle sweet, and more than medium malty. Licorice again, and a pleasant fruity acidity. Properly hopped, subtle earthy and peppery. Smooth in the mouth. Fine, bitter-sweeet ending. Very good, indeed.
