COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: Also known as "Nibe Old Anchor Porter". <br /> Anker Porter er en dejlig rund og kulsort porter med lysebrunt cremet skum. Caribisk sukkermelasse giver sammen med ristet malt, spændende smagsnuancer af kaffe og lakrids.

[email protected] Black colour, not much head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, strong roasted malts and also some slight stinging alcohol. Flavour is alcohol, sweet malts, coffee and mild roasted notes. Aftertaste gets bigtime roasted malts meeting alcohol. Even though the alcohol hints it’s a quite nice and wellbalanced beer.

omhper (25349) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 17, 2008
++Draught at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen.++ Black, small beige head. Roasty coffee aroma. Dryish and heavily roasty. Medium bodied with some dark chocolate. The mouthfeel seem to consist of a solid core with mushy edges. Some asphalt lingers in the finish. A solid porter with lots of things going for it.

Cask at EBF Copenhagen 2008 ... Deep deep black ... very light oast malt nose ... a deep roast malt flavour with some coffee ... low level of bitterness ... and decent depth.
