En udemærket øl, der dog ikke er helt på højde med de belgiske.
Der er ikek så meget jul over den, som der plejer at være i danske juleøl TorbenJensen (1517) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 17, 2015
It is a moderate foaming ale with a clear scent of caramel. The taste is slightly dark chocolate, dark caramel, some nuts, cinnamon and a nice mix of hops that pulls aftertaste protracted. I can feel Christmas in the aftertaste where I think it tastes a bit of blame or fig. In any case, leaving the relatively much residual sweetness. It is excellent, although perhaps not peaking quite as genuine Belgian dubbel. NosirIwont (2516) - Frederikssund, DENMARK - SEP 13, 2013
Bottle. 6.5%. Best before 26.09.13. Pours a cloudy to murky dark amber/brown with a disappearing tan head. No lacing. Hoppy aroma, sweetish and slightly tart. Malt in the background at first, but soon increases and takes over from the hops. Light roasted note. Flavour is sweetish, malty, fruity and roasted, with a metallic note. As it warms, the metallic note subsides and a light clove note appears. Feels a bit watery. Dryish, sweetish finish with a roasted/dark fruit note and a hint of cloves. Lingering roasted note and a touch of alcohol. Overall okay. 13.09.13. olio (10167) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 1, 2013

Pours deep dark red color with a small head. Aroma of sweet dark berries, some dark fruits, caramel, faint spices, mild malty notes and some sugar. Quite stuffy aroma. Flavor of dark berries, caramel malts, some faint metallic notes, cardboard and straw. Sweetish malty palate with a dry finish.

Aroma is musty with sweat, some burned sugar, caramel and berries. Also some woody notes. Flavour has forest berries, caramel malt, hints of burned sugar and bilberries. Also some licorice and roasted notes after some sips. Not the most typical dubbel, too messy and too much berries.
500 ml bottle, thanks Timo A. Pours a dark brown, almost black colour with a small head. Aroma of sweet pungent berries, bread and some maltiness. Flavour of biscuity malts, bread, tart berries, strong wet paper, grass and yeast. Tastes old. Light bodied, thin mouthfeel and a berryish, sweet, tart finish. Not good, although the aroma is somewhat fascinating. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 23, 2013
courtesy of Antonio Ruiz - pours a very dark brown beer with an evanescent foam; aroma of licorice, black cherries and marzipan, low hop presence; low carbonation and a good malt backbone, the fair sweetness is rather artificial ; short aftertaste of plums and malt with some residual sweetness - not bad but without much character Benfi (692) - DENMARK - MAR 3, 2013
Pours deep amber with a small fainting beige head. The aroma is heavy spiced with notes of cardemon, clove, cinnamon and sweet malt. The flavour is toasted malt, cinnamon and other xmas spices. Not overpowered but okay spicey. holdleder (365) - Kongerslev, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2013
