COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Smells hoppy with notes of citrus and flowers. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. The taste is sweet of honey, a little pine, citrus and caramel. The finish is a very mild bitterness. Mouthfeel is very smooth with a little tinkering.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly hazy, yellow. Small, frothy head. Fruity, yeasty aroma. Similar flavour, slight hints of spice, but not much of a triple.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy straw with small white head. Cleara roma of hops and grain, with notes of malt and yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of pepper and hops and some fruity and estery touches. Bittersweet aftertaste. Not that bad, but... what on earth is this? Not much in the way of a Tripel.

Bottle. 7.0%. Best before 13.07.15. Pours a hazy/cloudy yellow with a diminishing off-white head. Okay lacing. Aroma is sweetish and fruity with notes of citrus, resin/pine and cloves. A bit cloying. Flavour is sweet with a candy-like touch, citrus, pine/resin and light cloves here as well. Dry finish, mildly bitter. Palate feels slightly fat/oily. Overall okay, if a bit cloying in the long run. 01.05.14.

Oelbas (274) - DENMARK - APR 20, 2014
