TorbenJensen (1517) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 19, 2015
This is truly one of the best wheat beers I’ve ever tasted. The aroma is wheat malt and roasted malt, which shows to be roasted wheat malt. Delicate and mellow taste of sweet malt with distinct chocolate tones and a very nice and soft hop bitterness. A light watery aftertaste that makes the beer light and comfortable. Bottle. Thanks to Stobbe74. Pours dark brown with a small creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is mild roast. Milky chocolate and wheat. Very ashy and vaguely tart flavor. Medium to thin palate, fonefan (48648) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2010
Clear medium to dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, roasted, caramel, chocolate, coffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. IMO not a dunkelweizen more like a dunkel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
