COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Balance is finding the point between two opposing forces for a more desirable outcome: Equilibrium. We crafted our Nickel Brook Equilibrium ESB with balance as the primary objective. Equilibrium has a great malt character and full body that you expect in an ESB. We balance it with a generous dosage of hops that gives Equilibrium a distinct fruity flavour and appropriate level of bitterness. We advise you to find your Equilibrium today!

Tall can in Brew Box. Lovely warm reddish brown with off-white head. Warming aroma of caramel and toasted biscuit. Upfront bitterness, with biscuit and dry caramel flavours, lingering dry hoppiness. Seems too bitter for an ESB.

Pours dark brown with a foamy beige head. Aroma is sweet caramel and earthy malt with nice english hops. Taste at first is really sweet but after my palate adjusted it is nicely balanced but rich. The hops give a big earthy bitterness with loads of caramel sweetness.

Can. Clear copper body, medium beige head with medium retention, some lacing. Aroma of caramel, herbs, dried apricots, nuts and earthy notes. Pretty aggressive taste: bitter herbs, wormwood, caramel malt, apricot jam. Ok.

473 ml can from lcbo. Quiet pour with medium carbonation; amber colour with generous tan head that lingers; abundant lace. The aroma is hoppy with an earthy undertone. The beer has a smooth malty start with hop dryness appearing and expanding in the middle along with notes of dark dried fruit. Long finish with a very good hop-malt balance. Good rich mouthfeel. A classic ESB!

can. gushy and foamy. pours unclear copper-orange with an abnormal light beige head, sticky lacing. spicy toffee maltiness, sweetish specialty malts as well - peppery peaches perhaps; carbonic acid, treacle, potent grassy, piney and earthy notes, alcohol. foamy carbonation - settling; light body; assertive grassy-grapefruits medium long finish. obvious canning issue. still an average take on esb.
