COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We admit it. We have a problem... We love our hops. We especially adore the amazing science of hops! As homage to our favourite wonders of nature, we present to you our award-winning Headstock IPA. The flowering humulus lupulus hop-cone provides us with the vital acids, essential oils and resins that permeate throughout our IPA. The result is a deliciously obscene wallop of tropical fruit, citrus and pine flavours and aromas any hop-head would gladly give a DNA sample for. We conclude that hop science is one tasty passion.

Can from the brewery from sister and brother-in-law. Thanks Rob and Ann. Served cold, poured into a pint glass. Hazy brown with an off white head. Ruby grapefruit and hedgerow aroma. Big satisfying grapefruit, tomato vine, and resin flavour. Superbly judged hop bitterness. Medium bodied, slick, and just all round satisfying. Quintessential example of the style.

Pours a hazy light amber with a thin white head that sticks around and leaves tons of lacing. Aroma is grapefruit. Taste is moderately bitter and little sweet. There are notes of grapefruit, pine, nutty malt, and peach. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Decent balance with some nice fruity elements to match the more pungent flavours. Pretty good.

Pour out of 16 oz can, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, grapefruit, pine, hints of grain into a bit of yeast, slight toasted bread. Taste was a mix of toast, bread, caramel, some toffee, some grapefruit, finishing fairly bitter.

Pint can from Market Street Wine Shop, Downtown. Pours a tiny bit hazy golden with a soft off-white head. Aroma is resin, honey, pine, citrus, caramel. Flavor is resin, pine, grapefruit, heavy caramel and more resin, a little honey sweetness in there to balance it out.
