To be immodest has to lack humility and decency. With out ’Immodest’ Imperial IPA, we achieved just that! Obscene use of Citra & Simcoe hops will atack your senses with bright citrus fruit, balanced with earthy pine notes. The indecency doesn’t stop there, as it packs a wallop at 9.5% but you won’t notice because it drinks so remarkably smooth. Don’t worry, your modesty isn’t needed here.

Growler from the brewery my good friend Erik shared with me and tasting at the brewery. Overall the best IIPA I have ever had. A perfect balance of malt and hops. Fantastic aroma of citrus and grapefruit hops, malt, caramel, bitterness. Taste is even better than the aroma. Super refreshing for an IIPA. Citrus, grapefruit and floral hops extravaganza balanced with top malt flavor. Alcohol almost completely hidden. Very easy to drink and hence very dangerous ;).

"Obscene" use of Citra and Simcoe hops delivers obscene amounts of flavour. Aromas of grapefruit and pineapple give way to creamy pine notes and a solid caramel malt backbone on the way down. A truly extraordinary beer

Good Drink!

750ml bottle from brewery. Pours deep golden with an off-white head. Simcoe hops stand out and deliver a beautiful taste and aroma. Really enjoy this IIPA!!

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2014 Purchased from the brewery, don’t know where else you could purchase this great beer other then from the brewery. Its worth the trip tho. This is a great double IPA. Taste has great citrus hop bomb with earthy malts. Wow great job, wish I could get this at my local LCBO. Only down part is it sure dries the hell out of your mouth the next morning after having a few of these!

can 9.0%. Poured hazy golden-amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is a mix of sweet citrus with some punchy hops you’d expect from an Imperial. Medium-full bodied, smooth carbonation, creamy mouthfeel with a tart finish. Flavour is sweet and bitter. Bready malts up front, nutty, big dry hopped presence, notes of apricot, pine resin, citrus peel, all well blended together, and the alcohol is well hidden.

While this beer is certainly big and bold, it is very well balanced creating a smooth, creamy and dare I say refreshing beer.

750 ml bottle shared by Jon Kotyck. Thanks man! Hazed golden with a lasting white head. Huge saturated simcoe nose. Leans malts, huge hop flavour, decently bitter but it’s more balanced then bitter. Really good!

750ml bottle – pours a rich hazy orange with a 2 finger white puffy cap which laces the glass unmercifully. Big aroma on this – pungent citrus-apricot bouquet over malt redolence and earthyness. Sturdy mouth feel, medium-dense body rich smooth silken rounded discernment with a bright hoppy-fruity character – for a DIPA this is rare but welcome. Flavour has a massive dose of non-cloying malt in fair balance with big pine-citrus-apricot hopping, the hopping on this big IPA is big but pleasant (85 IBU is tame by radical standards but it works here due to great balance and choice of hops and malts), no enamel-melting alpha madness here. The finish is long and rich with some increased bittering. Not a hint of the alcohol strength in aroma or flavor. The label warns against cellaring this big ale, I think that’s sound advice – you have all the elements that aging gives present in this big pale ale – smooth and rounded, alcohol hidden, good amalgamation of flavor. I suspect if you were to age this you would lose the bright citrus-apricot hoppy edge to it. All in all one of the best DIPAs I’ve sampled – big, balanced, ready to drink.

One of the best DIPA’s in Ontario and can hold it’s own against Heady Topper
