A clear brown ale with a thin white head. In sweet fruity malt with light rye, dried fruits, orange peels, nice. In mouth, loads of spices, caramel malt, nutmeg and cinnamon, alcohol warmth. GuillaumeCL (344) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 1, 2013
Bottle from the beer mail. Pours a clear deep red with pretty much no head. Smell is slightly sweet, with a bit of spice, cinnamon, ginger, and maybe a tiny bit of grassy hops. Palate is medium bodied with good carbonation. Taste is a bit spicy at first before having a bit of sweetness, which gives way to the ever building spiciness and bitterness. Spiciness lingers for a bit in the aftertaste. Pretty decent, but there’s definitely better winter warmers. Radek Kliber (7483) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - JAN 18, 2013
