375ml bottle. Barely clear, golden colour with delayed chippy, average, foamy, beaten egg white-like, mostly lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Bretty aroma with moderate funkiness, Hubba Bubba bubblegum "fruitiness" and sweet(-ish)-ness, floral notes, a touch of powdered sugar. Taste is tart-ish, dry, mildly funky, bretty, some residual, biscuity, pale malty sweetness with a touch of sugar powder and floral overtones, some hop bitterness; overall mild, light and close to watery. Appropriate to chum up with brett on a rather low-level entry, surely reducing the danger of prompt deterrence. Gpnterojd (181) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 17, 2018
Excellent brew, the closest I've found to an NEIPA in Ontario. The bitterness and creaminess can be adjusted by swirling or not swirling the yeast. Good value too.
The "belgian ale" classification really doesn't seem to match the flavor profile however: Pineapple, citrus, cereal and sliding scale soapiness (more yeast in the pour = more soap) talisencrw (81) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 15, 2018
I'm REALLY enjoying the beers from this Nickel Brook company--that's several knockout beers I've tasted in a row from them, after thinking the very first I tried of theirs was only so-so. Glad I stuck it out and gave them another chance! This was spectacular, very flavourful and superbly refreshing. Can't wait to see what they come up with next--this was easily a solid A- in my books--the only improvement I want is a MUCH bigger can lol cfrancis (3638) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 11, 2018
Pours foggy light yellow gold with a small white wisp. Aroma is light grain and sweet malt with light citrus. Taste is much the same. Light brett sweetness and grain. Low bitterness and citrus hops. kevinsenn (2328) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 30, 2017
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2018 Sweet tart aroma. Very fruity and nice. Fruity taste with some hints of tartness and bitterness. Well balanced and tasty.

Citrus aroma dominates. Pours a light cloudy yellow colour with minimal frothy head. Taste is hoppy and sour with a tart, crisp finish. Maybe not a fall/winter beer? Might be refreshing on a hot day but not my fav for this time of year.

Effervescence active, corps moyen. Interprétation originale et plutôt fruitée du style. Excellente. neroaga (58) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 7, 2017

Bottle - pours a hazed light straw color with a small but persistent cap. Aroma is like a musty-fruity pale ale, we have the wet horse blanket tones mingling with bright stone fruit and biscuity malts - pungent - nice. Flavor profile is massive - big musty-funky notes from the bret but well balanced with fruity esters and rich malting, soft on the palate but robust in flavor, dry clean finish with fruit and some bittering - very nice - working with Bret is tricky and this brew is top notch - Nickel Brook has arrived.
