Has a fruity taste in the beginning. Very fruity aroma with citrus and rich orange, tangerine - good hops. Decent lacing with a reddish amber pour. Isnt super bitter at the end, but has a very full taste. Nice smooth ending with a little bitterness. Very full tasting beer. Tap at Only Cafe. Sammy (12210) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 24, 2012
Wet hop series, enjoyed on Tap at WVRST. Cloudy light orange colour. Very fresh tasting, with clear orange flavour. Carbonation right there. Tasty and good drinkability. One of their best. Faint hop aroma. kevinsenn (2215) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 23, 2012
On tap at Imbibe. Hazy amber. Mild but pleasant fruity aroma. Sweet fruity taste, with a bitter finish. Some grainy bready notes in there too. Good body and carbonation. I enjoyed this one; Nickelbrook seems to be getting American Pale Ales right recently. JesseM (1158) - Margaritaville, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 23, 2012
On tap at Imbibe. Hazy gold with a large white head. The aroma is alright, some nice piney hops covering up a weak malt character, as well as some yeast. Flavour wise it was a bit two-dimensional, decent hop presence flavour and bitterness-wise, but the malt body just isn’t there for any balance and the dry yeast adds to the rather abrasive feel I get from it. On the bright side it hides its booze quite well. Not a bad effort at all, but maybe not my hoppy cup of tea.
