Nieuwhuys’ answer to the commotion that arised when InBev intended to relocate the production of the famous Hoegaarden Witbier to Jupille. The name is the Latin translation of ’Hoegaarden’. Milky, sticky, off-white head, yellowish blonde colour with greenish hue, light hazy. Typical witbier aroma of wheat, coriander, peach, dough, freshly cut grass, sour cream, pineapple and a hint of fried eggs. Rather neutral onset, grainy and wheaty, strong carbonation but mellow mouthfeel, subtle spices, finish a bit ’empty’ and watery. mikske79 (1730) - Puerto Plata, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - AUG 9, 2014
