Big head, dark amber colour, goes well in a Belgian chalice. Aroma of malts, some witbier notes, some barley. Taste is a smooth mix of malts, a little caramel. Palate could be stronger. Good for drinking lots of. fonefan (52426) - VestJylland, DENMARK - FEB 8, 2011

Amber ale since 2009 from Nieuwhuys in Hoegaarden, with yellowish white, coarse head and orangey amber colour with medium fizz. Fruity character, peach, coriander, caramelly and nutty malts, mild herbal hop bitterishness in the finish. Rather unremarkable but balanced.

Hazy light amber color, white head.
Caramel aroma with some hints of funky (yeast) orange and a bergamot touch. Sweet flavor, caramel, nuts. Slight dry bitter finish.
Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Gent, consumed at home on Wednesday 12th February 2014. Pours hazy dark gold with slim white head. Clean slightly spritzy nose with a little spice, a little bland is my first impression. It’s fine, a tiny bit thin and lacking maybe, but absolutely fine. Sweetish typically Belgian in many respects but very safe. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
