Quite a number of cans drunk from 1/31/17 onwards.
Lightly to minimally hazy, as the recent batches have been with a strong maize-golden body and solid, large, white head atop.
Dry pineapple, lemon, wood, white grapefruit and strong biscuity malts in the background. Black pepper and nectarine skin continue to keep the impression "dry".
In the mouth it’s tightly carbonated and has a highly attenuated, malty texture with moderate biscuit-like malt notes scratching at the palate. Unripe lime, lemon, nectarine and white grapefruit over-dry the palate and even the moderate amount of bitterness here is too much. Just way too dry again, like the some of the recent batches and little to no juiciness.
I don’t know if they just hit a rough patch with the hops or have been in to bone dry West Coast IPAs lately, but I hope they bring back the New England style Morphs.....

Tap at Gingerman pale cloudy yellow. Nose is dank hops, pine, and onions. Tastes of resinous pine, earthy, light grapefruit, onion, and some rubbing alcohol. Lingering dank finish. Ok

Can at home. Thanks Tristan! Pours a slightly hazy copper. Thick white head. Aroma is citrus, a bit earthy, caramel, toast. Taste is piney, earthy, faint citrus, light toasted caramel. Bitter, moderately carbonated. Not a bad IPA.

[2/1/17] Draught at Night Shift Brewing in Everett. Cloudy golden. Juicy tropical fruity hops, a bit "green", slightly oniony, dry, bitterish. Very nice.

Can, hazy orange with a medium head. Notes of pine, orange, light cheese/onion for Citra and Columbus being in it. Tastes a little bigger than 6.8 percent. Medium to fuller body. Sticky and bitter close.

16 oz. can in a trade with Chalumeaux. Deep golden color, almost a Amber hue. Aroma is grapefruit rind, earthy pine and caramel. A good amount of caramel.

Earthy pine mixed with grapefruit rind. Shows an abundance of caramel malt in the base. The bitterness is also borderline abrasive and for some reason I taste alcohol. I had a feeling that the quality of Night Shift’s product was suffering lately. This IPA solidifies that in my mind. Disappointing.

Can (473 ml). Hazy golden with a frothy white head, good retention, leaving heavy lacing. Aroma is super dank at first but it quickly dissipates to leave place for resin, fruity hops and floral notes. Taste is resin forward with grapefruits, lean peppery cereals backbone, light dankness and moderate bitterness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. A bit oily mouthfeel. Dry and resinous finish with dank notes. A good IPA, it’s just too bad that the wonderful dank and oniony smell you get when you crack open the can dissipates so quickly. Super easy drinking.

Pours a lightly hazy golden with a high pillowy white head that sticks to the glass quite heavily. Nose is fruits and resin. Taste is moderately bitter and does not really feel sweet. Some floury cereals. I wish it was fruitier/juicier but it is still quite pleasing. Lingering peppery finish. Some onions. Body is on the lighter side and carbonation moderate. Again, it could certainly be more juicy. Overall a pretty solid IPA, it scratched most of my itches.
