Draught at the brewery, 12/10/16.
Lightly-to-moderately hazy, lime-tinted golden body is topped by a sizable white head that shows good retention.
Juiciness is a bit more subtle in the nose than it has been for a good many batches now and this batch along with the 12/15 and 1/12 really move away from the "classic" NE IPA juicebomb to more of a West Coast hybrid, as this features much more lemon-forward hop notes and a more dry, biscuity malt profile without as much suppleness/softness. That being said, it’s still a wonderful IPA without too much resin that one migh find from Simcoe. Lightly spicy with lots of grapefruit, lemon, orange rind and light honey-like maltiness lingering. Tight carbonation, clean with no alcohol noted.

16oz can gifted by Chalumeaux. Big thanks for the Night Shift tick! Pours cloudy yellow gold with a big white head. Aroma is pine, grapefruit. Flavor follows. Light grain, strong pine hop. Grapefruit peel bitterness in the finish.

Can from Simz, hazy dark golden with a medium head. Notes are dank simmer and old school chinook pine cones. Medium bodied. A little sweet and chewy after a week in the can, preferred it when it was a couple days old. This hasn’t been my favorite series from these guys, much more of a whirl pool guy but this was still drinkable with some nice hop aspects.

16 oz. can received in a trade with Chalumeaux, much thanks! Darken gold color with lasting, bubbly white head. Aroma is layers of cut grass and moderate pine.

Flavor is identical to the aroma. The grain supports the hops with the pine showing in a strong manner in the finish. The pale malt displays a touch of sweetness. Grapefruit pith hints as well. Overall, has a very classic IPA character to it.

Golden orange with a nice white head. Aromas of grapefruit citrus floral notes and hop. Taste is grapefruit pith grain and lingering bitterness. Ok but liked prprevious versions.
