Cans drunk 12/30/16.
Good haziness to the lime-tinged golden body and a fluffy white head atop with good retention.
Another one on the more dry, West Coast styled citrusy side, with tons of lemon, pepper, light pine and grapefruit alongside light pineapple and melon. Malts are sparse and show light biscuit and wheat. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it’s very dry, without the typical juiciness of many of the recent batches (excluding the previous batch, which was much like this one). Pineapple, nectarine, lemon and grapefruit add plentiful bitterness, but the supple body helps soak up any excess bitterness and the beer still comes off mostly balanced. Good stuff, though I much prefer the more NE style versions.
