Canned 2/16/16, drunk 3/5/16. Hazy to nearly cloudy, bright golden-straw body is well-carbonated and topped by a well-retained white head. Very juicy and fruity in the nose, as this and whirlpool seem to mostly be nowadays. Dry pineapple and some light leafy, almost pine-like character show a touch of resinous acidity. Malts are sparse, adding crackers and biscuits while alcohol is concealed and there are no flaws. Lovely juicy fruit flavors with strong grapefruit overtones and light peach-mango on the finish. Malts are just a touch scratchier/huskier than the previous batch (2/2/16) which was probably my favorite batch to-date, but the carbonation is still on point and this is still wonderfully drinkable and right up there with the best NE IPAs.
