Draft at the source 26 July, 2016. Pours slightly yellow, big fluffy head. Good retention and lacing. Sharp, bitter hop nose, white grape, peach, with light biscuit notes.

The finish is moderately bitter with a light tropical fruit texture. Medium-bodied with flavors of melon, white grapes, citrusy hops and mild biscuit malt. Finishes on light grass bitterness.

After I left the brewery, I wish I had taken some cans home because this is a nice blend of hops. They should stop the series right here and just use this as their new IPA. Very tasty.

Can drunk 7/9/16.
Heavily hazy body is a golden-brass with a big, well-retained, white head.
Juicy fruits in the nose are tinged by strawberry, white grape and cherry. Citrus shows more of the mild varieties with no hard white grapefruit and no pine or resin. For 5.1% this is fantastically aromatic and the malt stays by the sidelines providing glimpses of honey and biscuit. No alcohol or flaw.
A wondrous blend of hops provides huge layers of complexity ranging from the minerality and wine-like nelson to the peachy-tangerine of Idaho 7. Simcoe is lighter here, but adds a good mango-cherry-lime and there’s no sign of resin or overly bitter hop notes. Succulent, well-attenuated malts, with tight carbonation provide a perfect texture and a great medium for the hop flavors. Awesome batch. Love the abv. Night Shift is really killin it with their hoppy beers.

From notes. Enjoyed this at a tasting at Andrew’s house for my first tasting with the Ann Arbor crew on July 8! 16 oz can. This is a really interesting beer. The pour is a lazy darker golden amber color with a small white head and a good bit of lace. The aroma is definitely full of citrus and light floral hops. There is a bit of tropical fruit on the back end, but it’s really well balanced. The flavor is a lot more fruit with a light grassiness and a floral hop. The mouth feel is light and juicy, with a crisp carbonation and a lingeringly dank hop finish. This is nice.

Can at Al’s with some tasty ribs. Pours bright and hazy yellow golden with white head. Tasting notes are Perfect grapefruit/orange resin, tang clean malt and mineral water. Body is medium with perfect carbonation. A beautiful, dialed-in pale ale from Night Shift. Cheers

Hazy tan pour, small white head. Grouse lookin’. I’d give it a 1 but I know it was a fresh tap. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit and honeysuckle. Flavor of grapefruit, lime. Great, but indistinct. Well balanced.
