Draught at the brewery, 10/14/16.gephross100 (943) - Bellaire, Texas, USA - OCT 23, 2016
Good clarity (lightly-to-minimally hazy) throughout this pale golden beer. White head atop is medium-sized and shows moderate to moderately strong retention.
Bright lemon, wheat, hints of honey and soft lactic acids wrap about the nose with no flaw or alcohol. There’s a surprising amount of depth for the relative simplicity of ingredients. Varied grain/malt notes, with a great juxtaposition of sweet and sour and no punchy lactic acids, yet notes of lemon rind, lemon juice and good minerality.
Sour, not heavily so, with a very dry, but not astringent texture and plentiful softness from light residual sugar and wheat. Lemony and biscuity, with growing lactic acidity on the finish. Even a touch of floral brett character, with light nectarine and orange rind. No alcohol or flaw. Moderate, engaging carbonation and no alcohol or flaw.
Bottle thanks to Joe H. Pours a hazy straw color. Smells like gym socks and key lime pie. Strong kiwi flavor. Medium sourness. thepatrickman (1503) - Lewes, East Sussex, ENGLAND - OCT 18, 2016
Draft at the brewery with Echobeer. This lives up to its name. The 4oz sample went down really quickly, and I looked back and thought "hey, that was a sour." Good, straightforward, medium-sour beer that would work really well as a base for fruited versions. AirForceHops (8284) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 15, 2016
Draft at the brewery. Clear in color yellow, mild head. Aroma is sour wheat, lemonade, weak lactic hint.

Bery approachable Berliner. Very easy and straightforward. Sour wheat, lemon rind, very subtle tart aftertaste. Yeah, the base for all their fruited Berliner series. I like the "bramble" alot, the fruit adds a lot to this base. But stand alone, this is still nice.
Tap at the brewery JStax (7453) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - OCT 7, 2016
Pours slightly cloudy straw yellow with a small white head, some lacing. Aroma of tart citrus, wheat and lemon. Flavor of wheat, lemon, lactic with a tart, dry finish
Draft sample at the source. The beer is a pale yellow with a white head of foam. The aroma has lemon juice and vanilla beans. Nicely tart. Juicy. Lighter body and medium carbonation. WillRunForBeer (2810) - Massachusetts, USA - OCT 1, 2016
Taster at the source. Been looking forward to trying this. Pours yellow gold with a white head. Aroma is sour wheat, lemon citrus, funk. Flavor is dry lemon n and wheat with moderate yogurt funk. Nice "simple sour" for Summer. vtafro (7453) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUN 5, 2016
Draft. Light yellow pour with beige head. Light tart fruit, sour aromas, mild Apple tones. Flavors are light, tart fruit, citrus, mild sweetness. ScipioA (405) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 7, 2014
Orangey with a little haze. Tart aromas pretty standard for the style. Maybe the best tasting Berliner I’ve had yet, very sour yet still refreshing. Tons and tons of lemon flavor that lingers. Very easy drinking without any of the slightly off putting flavors or aromas you sometimes get with sours.
