2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Perhaps I sat on my bottle too long, because I didn’t really get anything resembling what I expected. It would be hard to describe the flavors, something like perhaps what I imagine burnt granola might taste like, but overall the beer, while not undrinkably awful, was certainly not "belgian pale ale with vanilla beans" tasting.
Pounder can via PUB’R. Hazy golden pour toward copper. Nose was hops, pale malt, florals, mild vanilla, some red fruit. I got some berry notes in this, in addition to the hops. Solid beer. thepatrickman (1398) - Lewes, East Sussex, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2016
16oz can, split over dinner. This smells great, with the malt sweetness, Belgian yeast, and vanilla all balanced really well together. The flavor is good, although it got a bit too sweet for me as it warmed up. It reminded me of some of the big Belgian-style beers I’ve had from Three Floyds. Interesting. tapefuzz (699) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 15, 2016

This seasonal beer is unique and crafty, but very satisfying and well rounded. A beer that really has different facettes. A drink worthy beer of craft from Everett in Mass. Us.
