bartlebier (3728) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAR 23, 2016
50cl bb05/2016 (redesigned label and Buddel) from a particularly well-stocked and lovingly catered Schöneberg Turkish drinks market shared in situ. - Clear golden pour, organic white cap. Whiffs of rich barley, grain and peanut husk merge with nettle and dried grasses. A striking natural grain bitterness in taste, like densely dried homemade dough, hay bitters then leafy Hallertauers with a dash of pepper, lime and astringent finish. Crisp, on-point, refreshing franconian Helles with robust grain character.
