Bottle at a tasting at James’s place. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Super skunky on the nose, old grain and malt. Medium bodied, grain and sweetness. Smells terrible, doesn’t really taste any better. Sweet and grainy. Not the worst of the night, that’s yet to come. GT (10001) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 8, 2011
330mL thanks to nimbleprop. The pour is clear straw with suddy, temporary white head. Spotty white lace. Nose at first is skunky and odd but moves to sweet candy and honey. Taste is inoffensive, light, medium honey. Mildy suddy but no soap and no fusel or off character. Not bad at all. I really the palate on this one: clean, refeshing, no off character. Good stuff. adamnowek (3066) - Brussels, BELGIUM - SEP 22, 2017
Clear. Weird orange-ish yellow. Super fucking sweet malt. Uganda, I guess?? DutchDrebus (6074) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - SEP 22, 2017
Bottle thx to benzai. Smells malts and grains. Tastes very watery, malty, sweet. Very mediocre. Thin body, soft carbo. oteyj (2139) - New Hampshire, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Clear straw pour with a small white head. Caramel malt, crystal malts, and metallic adjunct. Light palate with ample carbonation and a sweet clean finish. Not bad for the style, actually.

Pale hay colored pour. Nose is mostly caramel and crystal malt characteristics with hints of metal and adjuncts. Light, watery. For a pale lager, manageable. luttonm (6554) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 16, 2012
.33l bottle in Juba, South Sudan. Nice enough ’premium’ lager for this part of the world. Slightly sweeter and thicker than the original Nile. Ok. nimbleprop (8589) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUL 27, 2011
What does a beer rater due when stuck in Uganda for two months? Search out obscure beers of course. This one is not too bad. 33cl bottle pours a burn gold or honey color with a thin, creamy white head. Nose is mostly bread, a little light toast, some light honey, a touch grassy. The flavor starts with a sweet maltiness, but that fermented corn flavor kicks in and ruins the party. It’s mostly sweet, even the finish is a tad slick, with just a touch of diluted orange zest. It won’t be the next beer craze, but in Kampala, this isn’t that bad. Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 19, 2012
