Bottled, from Systembolaget. Dark brown with brief head. Rich aroma of milk chocolate and coffee. Very sweet with near full body and well rounded mouthfeel Heavy on milk chocolate, perhaps a slight touch of berries. Lots of sugar. Mid bitter finish. Too much milk chocolate and sugar - gets heavy and one dimensional. Not one of Nils Oscar better moments.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2018 Bottle from Systembolaget. Relatively light smell, roasted with dark malts. Similar taste. Nice balance between roasted and sweetness. I didn't get the fruits.

27-NOV-2017, bottle @home, from Systembolaget, brought by Erik, thx. :-) Weak aroma with a Little roast and faint berries. Taste is berries and roast. Licorice. Short finish, thin body. Nils Oscar can make better Imperial Stouts than this.

The aroma of chocolate and dark malt. Taste of coffee, chocolate and dark malt. Good bitterness that fills the mouth forever. Really good beer but not know of any lingonberries or rose hip at all. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a neat, light brown head. Subtle roast in the nose with a berryish hint. Medium-bodied, fairly solid roast, a very vague hint of the berries and a dry, licorice-like finish. A little underwhelming to be honest. 161117

Franzen (688) - SWEDEN - OCT 27, 2017
Burnt aroma, roasty taste. Not much of the rose hip or lingonberry. To burnt in aroma, otherwise it could have been a good stout without the rosehip or lingonberries.

Jyrsa (1029) - - OCT 21, 2017
Bottle from Systemet. Black with dark tan head. Nose of cocoa, sweet medium charred malt, chocolate, a hint of smoke. Vanilla, cocoa, chocolate, cream. Bittersweet with an interesting slick yet grainy palate. There might be some lingon in the nose but it's very faint. Like the stout and a refreshing change from Nils Oscar.
