COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

(Bottle, 0.33 l, from K Supermarket Kamppi) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and light brown. Aroma had roastedness, malts and mildly coffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, roastedness, mildly coffee, creaminess, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was mildly roasty and bitter. A solid and tasty brew. A bit too watery.

Small beige head. Deep red body with light carbonation. Strong roasty caramelly aroma with wooden lacquer notes. Dry-sweetish roasty wooden lacquer caramel taste with pine needle and earthy notes. Faint acidity in background. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Fullish body. Dryish roasty popcorn and coffee aftertaste with earthy dusty notes. Lovely vividness and harmony. Not sure about the acidity. Otherwise outstanding. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

330ml bought at Systembolaget in Linköping. Shared with Finn. Good looking with a clear, dark-brown body topped by a one-finger, off-white head. Smell of roasted dark malts. Taste is also roasted with earthy malts and hints of cocoa and caramel. Rather short aftertaste of roast bitterness. Clean and easy to drink (Tromsø, 24.01.2011).

Tasted 2010-12-29. Pours clear, brown with beige head. Aroma is rye bread, slightly smokey. Taste is a little bitter and has a sorta bacon-ish flavour to it. Overall it’s quite good, but I would say, that you hafta like the bacon style beer.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a dark reddish brown colour with a frothy, natural white head. Leaves a lacing on the glass. Aroma of bread, toasted malts and nuts. Flavour of toasted malts, bread, dried fruits and grass. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Dryish mouthfeel. Nothing special but quite decent.
