Severe beer to assess. Smells just enough. Tastes weird almost like drinking grass and metal. The aftertaste is left for a while. Find it very difficult to drink this beer.

330ml Bottle - Copper coloured. Nuts, roasted malt and dried fruit in the aroma. Malty, fruity and nutty taste with notes of toffee, walnuts and grain.

(Bottle) Smell of sweet malt and grassy and slightly floral hops. Similar flavor but with fresher hoppy aromas than what is common in most beers of this type, ie "Oktoberfest / Märzen". Nice dry and distinct bitterness in the aftertaste. One of the in my taste better beers of this kind that I have tasted.

33cl bottle poured into a juice glass (all I had available at the hotel). Amber with a small tan head. Aroma is caramel. The maltiness of this beer is hidden behind the above average hops content for the style. Thin body, above average carbonation. The finish is quite bitter and lasting. This is a decent beer but not one of the better examples of a Märzen bier.

Flaska från systembolaget. Något märklig bismak. I övrigt inget som något som gjorde intryck. Jag passar på den i framtiden.

Aroma: Smelling mostly malt, honey, porridge, nuts, some orange.
Appearance: A clear copper amber, a rather small and quickly settling head, good lacing, small curtains.
Taste: Starts with sweet brown bread, porridge with brown sugar, hay and some bitter herbs.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, fizzy bubbles, sticky fluid with a medium body, slightly dry finish.
Overall: More malts than hops, as should be. But not a bad Märzen at all.
Note: Bottle 330 ml. Reviewed 2012-09-08.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2012 Sample at a tasting. It poured a clear dark golden liquid. Bready smell with some flowers and hay. Similar taste with a noticeable bitterness. Milder then the other Swedish octoberfestbiers, but better then the German versions.

Bottled. Pours amber with a small head. Smells stale malty. Taste nutty malty with a very bitter and stale finish.
