3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Expensive) Bottle (75cl) from Systembolaget. Pours red amber into the glass with a fine layer of foam that never goes. It is a very beautiful beer thanks to its’ red (autumny) look. Aroma is a nice blend of malty sweetness and spices, it drives up the thirst. The taste is a slight let down from the build up, it starts mild and sweet from the caramalts, but then comes the spice and bitterness that washes away the sweets and leave you with a dry mouth. It’s like a teaser, the first impression is that this is a thirst quencher but then halfways through you frown and your toungue gets all dry. Too bad. With all the nice pre-conditions, this beer could have been a lot better.
(Bottle) Hazy amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, spicy nose with dried fruit, toffee, crisp-bread, toast, herbs, roasted almonds and herbs. Malty, spicy taste with notes of dried fruit (dates), toffee, toast, orange peel, some chocolate, a touch of liquorice and herbs. Fairly low bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Not your usual saison. Spicy, herbal and quite different. Quite nice. Lawger (275) - SWEDEN - JUN 11, 2014
Dark amber colour, cloudy with sediment. Distinct belgo associations on the nose with foam bananas and sweet saison yeast. Well balanced flavour with good sweetness/dryness, decent length and a very light bitterness. Nice and tasty. daje (4436) - NORWAY - APR 14, 2014
Bottle from Systembolaget, shared with esp0r & edvard, september 27th 2013. Hazy amber body, low beige head. Aroma of herbs and spicy yeast, taste is fruity with faint hints of spices. Feels something is missing here, although it doesn’t taste bad I feel there’s not enough stuff going on. _angst_ (4802) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 26, 2013

Deep orange, massive beige head. Spicy, fruity, quite heavy on the aroma, malts and resins. Moderate sweet, heavy malts, a bit chemical, a touch of fernet branca, some oak. Moderate bitter. Quite ok - can’t find the mushrooms though
Very nice beer - apparently one of their seasonals - with an unusual taste. The aroma is a bit of a disappointment. This bottle was stored by me for 1 year before drinking it. Must say it was a pleasure sharing it with two other guys at a baby shower. Must be classified as an ale. Ok I was wrong, its a saison. The name means "autumn". alkolas510 (1405) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2013

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Bruce. Hazy amber beer, big fluffy cream coloured head. Light palate, airy and semi dry. Strange bitter caramel and burned toffee taste here. Touch of dried fruits. Dry finish. A bit odd not too bad.
