Bottle. Golden beer with a lightly malty aroma. The flavour is very bitter, malty and hopped. Overall an average malty and strongly hopped beer. SaintMatty (7365) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - AUG 27, 2008
330ml Bottle - Golden/amber in colour. Malty aroma with some grassy hops. Pleasant tasing with a light bitterness and some lemon and malt notes with a refreshing lightly hoppy finish. Not bad for the style. Doppelganger (1388) - Dry County, Arkansas, USA - AUG 17, 2008
Bottle, from Waitrose in Witney. Light amber pour with a bit of off-white head. Aroma of toasted caramel and earthy, herbal hops. A bit of walnut husks. Woody, brisk hops blend nicely with burned caramel and husky lager malt. Refreshingly bitter, but some good interest to the malt character. Yup, this is a pretty good lager. Appearance: Golden orange. Tiny amount of fizzy head.
Aroma: Hops and malt, unsurprisingly.
Taste: Fruit, with malt and hops. Fresh. Nice, slightly bitter aftertaste.

30-Apr-08 (330-ml bottle: Free sample bottle for stewarding the 2008 World Beer Cup in San Diego, CA) Grainy, malty nose with moderate amount of composted grass, some cheesiness, and a background note of lightly sweet honey. When the beer is left unmolested in the glass, the aromas fade sufficiently to reveal a dry, almost toasty maltiness and an unexpected but very intriguing smokiness. Grainy, honeyed, lightly sweet and gently hopped entry on the palate, but almost immediately, earthy hop flavor, dry, toasty malts and a light smokiness emerge, taking the beer in a direction that’s quite a departure from my expectations, but a direction that is wholly welcomed. Light-medium in body, low in carbonation, but the bitterness fades off the palate leaving a dry, malt-dominated mouthfeel that’s not as refreshing as expected. Golden in color and perfectly clear, but very few carbonation bubbles rise through the beer. The off-white head pours very small, just a thin, almost filmy layer, and that dissipates fairly rapidly to a meniscus-size ring. An unusual beer for a pale-colored lager, but quite good overall.

Pours a clear straw gold with a 1 cm white head.
Smells very grainy, like horsefeed mixed with honey. This is pretty well a farm field.
The mouthfeel is slick with medium carbonation.
The taste is very malty, with some unbuttered popcorn and sour citrus.
Great, simple stuff. Marsiblursi (3076) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 12, 2008
(Bottle) Pours golden with a small head. The aroma is of white bread, straw, mild honey, light cookie and cracker-like malt with light oily, herbal hop tones up front, but there is also some room for grassy and floral hints. Tiny bit fruity as the beer gets warmer. The flavour is light to medium malty and light to medium hoppy with tones of cracker, bread, straw, grass and some light floral tones. The mouthfeel is clean (almost hard), light dry and light crisp. Light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Light to medium bodied. A bit too clean. petermadsen (390) - Vesterbronxxx, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2008
A really nice lager with a aromatic malt flavour and some a very balanced bitterness. Heja Sverige! tlind2 (1727) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 12, 2008
330 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber, almost no head. Slightly sweet, hoppy aroma. Taste follows after the aroma, with plenty of hops and sweet malts, finishes off bitter and dry. The flavor profile is reminiscent of a pale ale, with less residual sweetness. Brix (660) - DENMARK - MAR 22, 2008
Tasted 2008-03-22. Pours clear, golden orange with white head. Aroma: (Dark!) malts and hops. Sugarish bread. Flavour: Slightly breadish. Slightly bitter. Very tasty!
