COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. It pours a more or less clear body, dark golden in color and topped by a finger-thick, light beige head. The aroma has peaches and some faint cat piss notes, and pale malts in the back. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, with some malty sweetness as a foundation. Cat pee hints and peaches too. Medium to full body, and a pleasant bitterness in the end. A quite pleasant and easy drinkable beer. 120106

Pours a light amber/orange color with a white head. The nose is heavy on the citrus and pine hop notes with a touch of floral aroma as well. A mild to moderate sweetness of toffee and toasted bread. The flavor is decently hoppy with citrus fruit and peel, a decent amount of pine, and some floral notes. Mild bitterness to balance out the sweetness of the toffee malt flavors.

Keg (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)
Deep orange, small keggy head. Stodgy sweet bready and grainy aroma, some treacle to the sugars. Certainly fruity hops too, but in that messy overloaded grunge way Fizzy keggy palate, sugary and nettly retronnasals. Big bold taste, no subtlety at all, no details, just copycat over-the top hops. I feel like I’ve had this a hundred times before, and very few of them were interesting, this is certainly no exception. However, with all the sugar, the alcohol’s well hidden, and the hops are biting enough that the sugar’s kept reasonably in check. Finish is very bitter, a touch herby and even plant-mattery, heading towards hay and grass.

33cl. Bottle. Trade with Enjoyit. Pours clear dark golden with a creamy white head and lacings. Sweet grassy and hoppy nose and flavor with plenty of grass, peach and caramel. Unfortunatly a bit of metal. Medium and smooth. Very dry and bitter end.

Bottle, 7.3%. OK grassy hop aroma, slightly caramelly. Almost clear grey golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour starts off with a rather high bitterness, very clean, though. Hint of caramel in the finish. Very late hop bite.

Benzai (15711) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 2, 2011
Clear dark golden light orange color, small white head, slightly lacing. Smells like grapefruit juice and bitterness. Taste grapefruits, hops, bitter, but also a little alcoholic. Smooth texture, very very good beer still.

On tap at Avenue pub. Pours a clear amber with a small off white head. The aroma is a cascade hop and citra. Medium mouthfeel with a dry hop and caramel. Easy to drink a very good IPA from Nils.

Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’11. It pours golden yellow with a quickly dissipating off-white head and moderate carbonation. The nose is red grapefruit, orange, passion fruit and grass. The taste is orange, grapefruit, hay, grass, cream soda, lots of zest and pith, cereal and some honey sweetness, with a solid bitter-dry finish. Nice.
