2012 Vintage. 4 finger beige head, brown body with a tint of red. Nose: Dates, caramel, malt, raisins, milk chocolate and dried fruit generally. Taste: Fudge, malt, dates, caramel, raisins, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, hint of tar, licorice, anis, and dried fruit. Semi-long ending with low bitterness.

Bottle. Clear red brown beer with a large beige head. Aroma is malty with notes of caramel, herbs, toffee, resin and roasted malts. Flavor is malty with notes of caramel, herbs, dried fruit, bread and roasted malt. Well balanced.

Reddish brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, light spices, dried fruits and slightly oxidized, not as much as 2007 an 2008. Taste is sweet toffee, light roast, dried fruits, vinous. Medium bodied, a bit watery texture, soft carbonation.

[4/25/15] Bottle sample at a tasting at omhper’s place in Tyresö. Thanks omhper, AndySnow and hackobock for sharing great beers! 2010 bottle. Brown. Aroma of malt, caramel, some fruitiness, oxidation, and a bit of chocolate. Sweetish flavor with some chocolate, caramel, some fruitiness, oxidation. Medium-bodied.

Bottle. Pours a dark wooden brown with a small, beige-colored head. Aroma is caramel, light smoke, light tar, dark malts. Some roast and dark fruitiness. Taste is some caramel, more roast, some smoke. Surprisingly light in the mouth. Dark maltiness, light carbonation. Fairly nice.

Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 09/08/2014. Mahogany brown / caramel voloured pour with a cream head. Aroma is spicy rye bread, cereal, sweet caramel and some jammy berry fruits. Flavour is composed of choc coco powder, jammy fruits, some hot alcohol in the finish. Palate is medium sweet, , dusty mouthfeel and hihish carbonation.
